Activity Overview
“On Hong x Rapportsocial | Community Care for Elderly Persons and Families” started from the everyday needs of elderly residents and families in the community. Practical supplies, on-site service and visit arrangements helped bring care closer to people who needed support.
On the day, the service team welcomed elderly residents and community members, provided suitable daily-life supplies and took time to hear about their circumstances. Visits and home delivery arrangements also extended the support to people who were less able to attend the activity in person.
The Home of On Hong Limited and Rapportsocial Service Limited worked together on the activity, coordinating around community needs and service delivery.
From a Package of Supplies to a Care Visit
Material assistance can respond to part of an everyday need, but care also comes from human connection. Through on-site service and visits, we hope people feel that someone is willing to listen and walk alongside them.
For those less able to attend the venue, home-based arrangements helped ensure that care was not limited by location and could reach people in circumstances closer to daily life.
