Activity Overview
“Elderly and Family Care Action II | On Hong x Rapportsocial” brought support into the Tin Shui Wai community with a focus on the daily lives of elderly persons and families in need. Practical supplies, on-site interaction and visit arrangements helped bring care closer to the people being served.
On the day, the service team welcomed elderly residents and community members, provided suitable daily-life supplies and took time to hear about their circumstances. Some support was also extended through visits and delivery arrangements for those who were less able to attend in person.
The activity was jointly organised and carried out by The Home of On Hong Limited and Rapportsocial Service Limited, working together to bring support closer to people in need.
Bringing Support Closer to Elderly Residents
For some elderly persons, simply reaching an activity venue can be a barrier. Alongside on-site service, visit and delivery arrangements helped bring supplies and care closer to where people live.
We hope each service can respond to practical needs while still making space for conversation and companionship, reminding elderly residents that the community has not forgotten them.
